Independence for Michael
Michael is a young man living with autism and an intellectual disability. Despite facing significant challenges throughout his life—including anxiety, depression, and a seizure disorder—he has continued to persevere with determination and courage.
Recently, Michael took a major step toward independence by moving into his own apartment with the daily support of his sister, Stormi. To help him live safely and confidently, he needed two assistive technology devices that were not covered by insurance or disability benefits: a MedaCube 2.0 automated medication dispenser and a Cozyla Smart Calendar+ 2.
Through our Hope for Tomorrow program, Kingdom Builder Ministries was able to provide these life-changing tools, helping Michael build greater independence while giving his family added peace of mind.
Every Hope for Tomorrow story is made possible through the support of our Program Projects, generous donors, and community partners who believe in making a lasting difference—one life at a time.
